As a cadet,

you'd be involved in academic training (related to aviation), shooting, flying, gliding, skiing, rock climbing, fieldcraft training, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, competitive sports and much more. "I'm over 20. Can I still join?"
Answer: yes!

However, you'd be joining as an adult member of staff rather than a cadet. You'd be involved in all of the above but you'd also be involved in the development and care of the cadets. In fact, not only will you have the chance to go shooting, you could also get involved with teaching the cadets marksmanship skills or perhaps you'd prefer leading them on an expedition. Whatever your experience, military or not, you could join as a civilian instructor with the opportunity of becoming a uniformed staff member, giving as much free time to cadets as you like. "I don't have much free time. Can I still be of assistance?"
Answer: yes!

You could join as a member of the civilian committee, fund raising for the squadron and helping with public relations and involvement with the community. Again, get in touch if you're interested.
